I worked for a few years programming a robotic arm at a hybrid electronic manufacturer. It was simple programming but it was a great experience. I was also a quality assurance tech, computer programmer and production error troubleshooter.
I was one of a team of just two who produced the first ultrasonic toothbrush for a firm you probably haven't heard of any time in the past. This was also a very valuable business lesson for me. First isn't always best!
My teammate and I programmed and adjusted every piece of equipment in this product line including: Infrared Reflow ovens; Testing equipment, Final testing and QC, then troubleshooting errors. This was a monumental task, but we provided two hundred thousand boards that were later fit into the hardware around the board we produced.
