I was lucky to have a very wide breadth of experiences in my short twenty-two years in the work force. Yikes, twenty-two years in the work force. 22 plus 18, carry the one, square root of 1600, carry the 40. Nuf said. Why it seems like only yesterday I was in eleventh grade signing my life away to Uncle Sam joining the U.S. Navy Delayed Entry Program. The first of what seemed like a never ending luck of the draws. I had no idea how much that extra year would help me throughout my Navy career. Dumb luck or fate? One never knows, but it sure seems like fate as I look back.
